Heartwrenching

Had a post I wanted to do today but somehow it doesn't seem so important anymore.

Our dear friend Brenda Griffith is there as well as other's we know that blog that I'm not aware of.

My Friend in the Tree

Here she is.

Isn't she pretty.  This tree is right beside the driveway where I park my car.  She flies almost every time if I poke around too much getting out and into the house.

I don't think I'll be able to get pictures of the little ones until they poke their heads out of the nest because its pretty high in the crotch of the tree.

 This is one of the pink knock-out roses that my brother bought my Mom for Mother's day.

 This is the other one down at the end of a very empty flower bed.  I think it may be gonna stay warm enough for me to finally get some flowers to plant.

What would you all plant there....any suggestions???

This is one of my potted plants. I love gerber daisy's and always get them for my containers for on the deck.

 

This is my purple wave that hangs on the wrought iron stake at the bottom of the steps.  I always HAVE to have one of these every summer.

So what are your favorite flowers to plant?
